Sydney A. Phillips Scholarship

Tenable at the University of the West Indies, the University of Technology, Caribbean Maritime University, Northern Caribbean University or other tertiary institutions in Jamaica.

Candidates should:

  • Be a Jamaican national
  • Possess good academic records
  • Have already been accepted by the institution and will have completed a minimum of one academic year
  • Be a resident of St. Mary
  • Have attended school in St. Mary to at least CSEC level
  • Be actively involved in community and/or school activities

Value of award:

The award is valued at $300,000.00 per annum – renewable upon confirmation of good academic standing

Ernest Johnston Memorial Bursary

Tenable at all accredited tertiary institutions in Jamaica and all Caribbean campuses of the University of the West Indies.

Candidates should:

  • Be a Jamaican national
  • Have strong academic performance (CSEC, CAPE, IB or Tertiary Studies with a GPA of 3.0 or above)
  • Be enrolled in any of the following Programmes: Agriculture and agriculture/agronomy related fields, Shipping and Logistics related fields, and Manufacturing and Food Production related fieldsValue of award:

Value of award:

The award is valued at $300,000.00 — granted for 1 year, but renewable up to 3 years upon confirmation of good academic standing.
